The ASFE Project Manager Training Program comprises 10 courses and 90 hours of instruction for those who are relatively new to project management and so have more questions than answers. Because it’s an ASFE program, it’s different and it’s relevant. It was developed because nothing else was available to fill the needs of ASFE-Member Firms and the thousands of other firms in the same boat. The project managers who attend the courses receive professional development hour (PDH) credits for their involvement. The most innovative part of the program is its flexibility. A group of firms can get together and pay ASFE to put on a course, or they can put a course on their own, by calling in a speaker. Or firms can use their own trained and accredited speakers and conduct the courses internally -- wherever and whenever they want -- and get PDH credits.
