Associate Membership
ASFE has eight associate membership categories. All eight are by-invitation only. Would you like to be invited? Just make that desire known to ASFE.
Professional Colleague
ASFE invites into Professional Colleague Membership firms that provide design/build and/or design/remediate services, but whose staff-provided design or consulting services are not severable from their construction or remediation services.
Collaborative
Geoconstructors with or without in-house design or consulting staff are eligible to participate as Collaborative Members. The cost to do so is modest; the number ASFE can accept limited.
Practitioner
Practitioner Membership is offered by-invitation-only to geoprofessionals who work for entities that are not eligible for ASFE-Member Firm status; e.g., professional societies and client companies.
Government
Government Membership is offered by-invitation-only to geoprofessionals who work for federal, state, or local governments.
Faculty
Faculty Membership is offered by-invitation-only to individuals who are full-time geoprofessional professors, associate professors, and assistant professors.
Student
ASFE invites qualified students to participate as Student Members on an annual basis. ASFE extends an invitation to those students who are listed by an ASFE Faculty Member and to those who are otherwise qualified and express their interest in becoming part of the organization. ASFE provides Student Membership without charge to those individuals whom a Faculty Member lists. Others must pay $25 per year.
Consultants
Consultant Membership is offered by-invitation-only to attorneys, financial advisors, and others who serve as consultants to ASFE-Member Firms.
Individual Life Member
Individual Life Members are persons who were leaders of ASFE while with an ASFE-Member Firm, but who have since retired from active practice or serve as consultants.
