Academy of Geoprofessionals (AGP) was founded in October 2008 by practicing geo-professionals who were members of the American Society of Civil Engineers' Geo-Institute. The Academy was created primarily to offer a voluntary, post-license credential that provide professional engineers an opportunity to gain further recognition in the broad field of geotechnical engineering.

 

American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) is the business association of America's engineering industry, representing more than 5,700 independent engineering companies throughout the United States engaged in the development of America's transportation, environmental, industrial, and other infrastructure.

 

American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) was founded in 1963 to certify the credentials of practicing geologists and to advocate on behalf of the profession. AIPG represents the professional interests of all practicing geoscientists in every discipline. Its advocacy efforts are focused on the promotion of the role of geology and geologists in society.

 

American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) represents more than 133,000 members of the civil engineering profession worldwide, and is America's oldest national engineering society. ASCE's vision is to position engineers as global leaders building a better quality of life.

 

American Tort Reform Association (ATRA) Since 1986, the only national organization exclusively dedicated to reforming the civil justice system. A nationwide network of state-based liability reform coalitions backed by 135,000 grassroots supporters. An unparalleled track record of legislative success.

 

Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG) contributes to its members’ professional success and the public welfare by providing leadership, advocacy, and applied research in environmental and engineering geology.

 

Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS) is a non-profit making trade association established to improve the profile and quality of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering.

 

California Council of Testing and Inspection Agencies (CCTIA) is a non-profit public benefit corporation dedicated to fostering, promoting, and encouraging through education, the practice and profession of materials testing and inspection services.

 

California Geotechnical Engineering Association (CalGeo) is dedicated to representing California's geotechnical community. With over 100 member firms from both northern and southern California, CalGeo is California’s premier organization for geotechnical firms.

 

Colorado Association of Geotechnical Engineers (CAGE) was established in 1995 by a small group of owners of geotechnical engineering firms in Colorado. This visionary group of founding members saw the need for a much greater exchange of technical and professional information between practicing geotechnical engineers, in an effort to advance the profession and to promote the public welfare.

 

Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) is a not-for-profit association of contractors, engineers, manufacturers, suppliers, owners and academia. DFI's membership promotes understanding and advancement of the deep foundations & excavations construction industry through conferences, publications, and community.

 

Engineers Without Borders - USA (EWB-USA) is a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life. This partnership involves the implementation of sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internationally responsible engineers and engineering students.

 

Engineers' Leadership Foundation exists to encourage and support the development of leaders within the engineering profession, for the benefit of the profession and society at large. Engineers make the world work. The Foundation believes that the world will work better when engineers have more influence on its future.

 

Geo-Institute (G-I) is a specialty organization focused on the geo–industry. Created by the American Society of Civil Engineers in October 1996, its 10,900+ members and 48 Organizational members include scientists, engineers, technologists, and organizations interested in improving the environment, mitigating natural hazards, and economically constructing engineered facilities.

 

GeoCoalition is an informal organization of "geo" organizations that meets to discuss matters of common concern and interest. Its members include, in addition to ASFE: ADSC: The International Association of Foundation Drilling, Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists, Deep Foundations Institute, Geo-Institute of ASCE,Pile Driving Contractors Association, and United States Universities Council on Geotechnical Education and Research.

 

Junior Engineering Technical Society (JETS) is a national non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting engineering and technology careers to the nation's young people. Since 1950, JETS academic competitions, educational activities, and career guidance resources have been exciting students about careers in engineering and technology.

 

Texas Council of Engineering Laboratories (TCEL) fosters and maintains excellence and professionalism in the construction materials and geotechnical engineering disciplines. Over the years, the Council has influenced legislative decisions and issued publications related to its disciplines.

 

United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA): The mission of EPA is to protect human health and to safeguard the natural environment -- air, water and land -- upon which life depends.

 

Washington Area Council of Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (WACEL) develops programs and guidelines that promote higher standards among firms and individuals involved in the observation and testing of construction materials.
